About Me
Thank you for checking out my website!
My name is Caitlin Trude - I'm a SoCal native, Content Creator and Copywriter, an avid reader/audiobook listener, and overall go-getter. I currently work at a small but mighty digital marketing B2B/B2C firm, where I am responsible for producing and editing a variety of original content such as social media posts, business blogs, website copy, editorial calendars, and custom graphics for clients across a wide range of industries. Prior to this, I worked as a public relations associate in Santa Barbara for an agency that primarily focused on publicity for nonprofits and other good-doing organizations. Between 2015 and 2017, I reported full-time for Acorn Newspapers in Ventura County. I am an Azusa Pacific University alum and was lucky enough to serve as editor-in-chief of the campus magazine, then called "Collide." I have since had my work featured in Santa Barbara Independent and in 2016, earned first place recognition by the California Newspaper Publishers Association in the category of sports writing. In 2018, I received third place recognition in the City of Ventura's Art Tales writing contest for the nonfiction category. Staying up to date with developments in the media/comm world is an ongoing goal of mine. I am currently pursing an M.S. in Interactive Media & Communication through Quinnipiac University with just three classes left to go. If you like what you see, don't hesitate to add me on LinkedIn! |
